Charley Riggs began his theater studies at SUNY Purchase in NY. He received his masters degree in theater from the Actor’s Studio M.F.A. program at the New School in NY studying with Arthur Penn, Lee Grant and John Strasberg. During that time, he became one of the founding members of the New York City theater group Fresh Bread Productions. With numerous Theater, Television and Film credits (Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Fool for Love, Guiding Light, Moment). A former production manager for Madison Square Garden Entertainment’s ‘A Christmas Carol’ and  ‘The Christmas Spectacular with the Rockettes’ at Radio City Music Hall.  He has taught acting at School of Visual Arts, Venice Theatre and has directed several shows including Godspell, and the premiere plays of Howl and Via Delarosa.

​Carmel Riggs, Co-Founder and President of CCA began singing at 9 years old, as she listened to Julie Andrews sing in the Sound of Music. The love of singing, piano and theater took control of her whole being. Carmel was beyond fortunate to have family and teachers around her to encourage, teach and validate her love of the arts. That encouragement took her to perform on Broadway, Off Broadway, Opera houses and to many theaters around the world. She studied at The Julliard School and holds a BA in Music Performance. She has been teaching voice, piano, acting and musical theater for over 20 years and has a vision that Chappaqua Creative Arts will encourage, teach and validate the next generation and many generations to come.

Coming straight from the heart of New York, Tom Phillips has emerged as a multifaceted talent in the film industry, showcasing his skills as the writer, director, and producer of the remarkable independent feature film "Between Wars," starring Michael Imperioli.

  Phillips cinematic journey took flight at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan, under the mentorship of Anna Strasberg. There, he honed his craft in screenwriting, playwriting, and acting, displaying a versatility that stands out in the industry.

  His collaborative work with Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan on a riveting screenplay inspired by the Hell’s Kitchen Mafia further adds to his impressive portfolio.

  Tom's dedication and creativity caught the attention of Michael Imperioli, leading to an invitation to join Studio Dante' in Manhattan as a founding member. Through this, he had the opportunity to assist Imperioli on his directorial debut, "The Hungry Ghosts," and work closely with actor/director Nick Sandow, known for "The Wannabe," executive produced by Martin Scorsese.

  Currently, Tom is gearing up as Showrunner for his next project, and Original Independent TV Series. He will also be collaborating with the acclaimed City Kids, Keith Harings Artistic Foundation.
