Coming straight from the heart of New York, Tom Phillips has emerged as a multifaceted talent in the film industry, showcasing his skills as the writer, director, and producer of the remarkable independent feature film "Between Wars," starring Michael Imperioli.
Phillips cinematic journey took flight at The Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute in Manhattan, under the mentorship of Anna Strasberg. There, he honed his craft in screenwriting, playwriting, and acting, displaying a versatility that stands out in the industry.
His collaborative work with Academy Award nominee Jim Sheridan on a riveting screenplay inspired by the Hell’s Kitchen Mafia further adds to his impressive portfolio.
Tom's dedication and creativity caught the attention of Michael Imperioli, leading to an invitation to join Studio Dante' in Manhattan as a founding member. Through this, he had the opportunity to assist Imperioli on his directorial debut, "The Hungry Ghosts," and work closely with actor/director Nick Sandow, known for "The Wannabe," executive produced by Martin Scorsese.
Currently, Tom is gearing up as Showrunner for his next project, and Original Independent TV Series. He will also be collaborating with the acclaimed City Kids, Keith Harings Artistic Foundation.
